Dr. Sean S. Daneshmand, MDLet us start by giving you a brief background on how it all got started. Ageless & Beautiful, Inc. was founded by Dr. Sean S. Daneshmand. Dr. Daneshmand is a physician/surgeon specializing in the area of perinatology (high risk obstetrics). He received his B.S. in kinesiology from the University of California, Los Angeles and his medical degree from New York Medical College. He completed his residency in obstetrics/gynecology at University of California, Los Angeles followed by a three year fellowship at University of California, San Diego in perinatology or Maternal Fetal Medicine. Dr. Daneshmand is currently a perinatologist at the San Diego Perinatal Center providing services at Sharp Mary Birch Hospital for Women. His passion for cosmetics began in 1999 with training in laser resurfacing, sclerotherapy, mesotherapy, laser hair removal, office face lifts (contour threads), dermal fillers, Botox, peels, microderm and vibradermabrasions. His artistic skills in the field of cosmetic surgery and his great fondness for working with women and men who are interested in anti-aging enhancements has led him to establish the present practice known as Ageless and Beautiful.return to top |

Dr. James J. Chao, M.D.Associate Professor of SurgeryJames J. Chao, MD F.A.C.S. is an Associate Professor of Surgery in the Division of Plastic Surgery at the University of California, San Diego. His clinical practice and research facility are at both the Hillcrest and Thornton Campuses of the UCSD Healthcare System. Dr. Chao was recruited as a plastic surgeon/consultant to the medical staff at Ageless and Beautiful from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, where he served as the Director of Hand and Microsurgery in the Department of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Chao, a native of California, received his undergraduate education at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California where he graduated with honors. He then traveled eastward on an academic scholarship and attended New York University School of Medicine in New York where he received his medical degree. Dr. Chao went on to complete his General Surgery and Plastic Surgery training at the world-renowned Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at NYU Medical Center. He also completed a Hand Surgery fellowship at NYU Medical Center/Bellevue Hospital Center. His training also extended to Europe where he spent time at the Institute Kaplan in Barcelona, Spain. Dr. Chao is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), the American Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery and serves as a committee member on the Plastic Surgery Research Council. Dr. Chao has been the recipient of numerous prestigious state and national research awards. For two consecutive years, he has been honored by the New York Regional Society for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (NYRSPRS) for his research accomplishments. The ultimate goal of Dr. Chao's research efforts is to pioneer new state of the art technologies for plastic surgery patients that is not available anywhere else. In addition to his clinical practice and research, Dr. Chao trains residents and teaches medical students daily on the art and principles of plastic surgery where he has been acknowledged with two special teaching awards. Dr. Chao's special interests include cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the hand and upper extremity, aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery, body contour surgery, and the development of new technologies in the field of plastic surgery.
